Hi all. Received the below on Feb 6th and interviewing this Saturday. I have visited the campus already and am a Southern California local.
Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in the USC Marshall MBA Program. We have reviewed your profile, and are inviting you to schedule an interview with a member of our Admissions Committee. We will be conducting interviews on campus on Saturday, February 28th and Saturday, March 7th. Interview times will be as follows: 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm.
For those fellow candidates who have interviewed on campus already with an adcom member, was the interview blind or did they come prepared to ask specifics regarding your application? Also, any idea how long the interview is scheduled for? Is it a hard stop, or is there potential to carry over the time allotted?
Good luck to all potential Trojans!
I interviewed on campus last week and received the same email. I didn't have an admissions committee member interview me, but rather a second year student. The interview was blind, and all he had done was read through my resume beforehand.
The interview is usually about 45 minutes. If they have someone scheduled for after your interview, it'll be a hard stop. I think mine was a hard stop anyway. My interviewer asked me questions for about 20 minutes or so (we started the interview late on his end), and then I had 15 minutes to ask him questions. It was very conversational.
Good luck!
