Where do you want to work and what area of finance do you want to work in? Are you going to stay and work in the USA or go international?

Purdue is more well known outside the USA and is a well respected engineering school. Tulane has strong S&T placements and is recruited heavily for the Houston energy market. The Tulane MSF is more active than the Purdue MSF (as a stand alone program). Both are great schools.

You really cannot say one MSF is better than another. They are very regional and industry specific. Each has their own strong suits and weaknesses.
