Hi,
I would like to do a masters degree in finance (or management if the lack of work experience makes it too hard).
I will apply to HEC, ESSEC, UCL, Imperial, LBS, LSE. What do you think of my chances for masters of finance at MIT or Princeton?
here is a quick summary of my profile:
- 21-year-old white male
-born and raised in France until high school, then bachelor of finance/accounting at the top uni in Australia - 8th best finance/accounting degree in the world according to QS world ranking 2014
- 750 GMAT expected
-first class honours average in finance. Second class honours in accounting. Low marks in first year explained by a hard time adapting myself to the life there, poor English at the time, away from family. A jump from 55% to 82% average between 1st and 3rd year. Really proud of my decision to study in Australia and of my hard work to increase my marks.
-strong quantitative background, won a few maths competitions in France, maths tutor, chess tutor
-work experience of ONLY 6 months - internship - at PwC in auditing (Paris & Lyon). Graduating in June 2016.
-Speak English & French fluently, good knowledge of German, basic knowledge of Russian
-competitive table tennis player, state competitions in France and Australia
I feel like adding a European (or American) postgrad degree in finance would really benefit my future career after an undergrad in Asia-Pacific.
THANK YOU FOR THE HELPPPPP
