math in SAT = math in GMAT? [#permalink] New post 30 Jan 2009, 00:57
hi there,

I have some books that teach the math needed for SAT; is this
level of math equivalent to the math needed for the GMAT???

Thank you!

technically the math in GMAT and the math in SAT test the same types of concepts. You can use the SAT books to brush up on some basic concepts. However, you'd still be much better off getting a math guide specifically for GMAT. Because even though the concepts tested are the same, the GMAT questions are way more tricky and are not worded liked the SAT questions.

Pretty much same concepts... But GMAT Math is much harder than SAT I think.
