Take a look over here: best-gmat-math-prep-books-reviews-recommendations-77291.html

A number of publishers offer what's called "Foundations" books - such as MGMAT math foundations and Kaplan Math Foundations.
There are also other books such as the MGMAT Guides, Veritas Prep Guides, and Kaplan Math Workbook.

You can buy the books from any source. You don't have to buy them from MGMAT.com.
There is an access code on the back of the books. However, don't buy them used as that code most likely has been used.

P.S. the SC MGMAT will have access to the tests. Here is how to get them:

http://www.manhattangmat.com/practicecenter.cfm

If you have not registered, you can click "register" link on that page.
Then register the book there and you should have access.
