Msunny,

I'm assuming that you are not applying last round anywhere. You have a competitive profile for your target programs. You may also want to consider Ross, Darden, and Tuck.

Best,

Linda Abraham

Thank you for your advise Linda.

I apologize for not stating my intended application sessions clearly.

I am planning to apply to INSEAD for Jan 2011 session. The rest are planned for Sept 2011 session. I plan to visit the US schools this summer and decide between INSEAD and US schools.

Do you this the following weaknesses will seriousily damage my profile.
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi India(Overall grade B-) (GPA of 7 on a 10 point scale)
- Weakness in BTech :- one fail grade in Probability and Stochastic Processes due to attendance problems.

You are a competitive applicant at your target schools. Given your professional progression, global exposure, overall academic strength and high GMAT, I don't think the Fis an automatic ding, but I think you need to provide a context and explanation for it.

Best,
Linda
