MBA in Asia [#permalink] New post 10 Jun 2011, 01:17
Hello All,

I plan to work in Asia after completing my MBA and I don't really expect to get into a top tier MBA program.

My question is, would it be better to do an MBA in Asia as opposed to Europe or N America?
Would getting into an 2nd Tier MBA program in Canada or UK be better in terms of mobility or would doing an MBA in Japan or Singapore be better?

I've done some research on MBA programs in Japan, and they don't seem to rank in the top 100, but they seem to be pretty decent in terms in quality.

Thoughts anyone?

I too am interested in this. International been working in the US for the past 6yrs. Have my targets set on Insead Singapore, but would like insight on what to target as other core/back-up schools.
Looking into General Management/Marketing @ an MNC or east/southeast asia based companies.

I, too, have interest in working in Asia. Considering ISB, Insead - singapore, HKUST...

I am curious to find out what challenges there are, if any, for working in Singapore or Hong Kong for non-native persons.

I would venture to guess that if the MBA school is not a top tier school in the US, maybe European schools will be better considering alumni base?
