Is anyone familiar with either of these two online MBA-prep programs?

The MBA Math: MBA Math.com is a self-paced, online quantitative skills course with 24 lessons covering basic quantitative skills in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, and spreadsheets. The full course generally takes 20 to 40 hours to complete working at your own pace. The focus at MBA Math is on the basics, making efficient use of your time. With the greater confidence of a firmer quantitative foundation, you should be in a better position to take on the formidable challenges of the first-year MBA classes.

MBA IQ: Developed by Harvard Business School graduates, The MBA IQ is a comprehensive course that enables individuals to "Master the MBA Lexicon." Designed for individuals pursuing careers in a variety of industries and functions, the course is relevant for anyone looking to develop his or her business acumen, at various stages of personal and professional and completion takes approximately 8-12 hours, with total flexibility regarding when and where you study. This online course covers 12 foundational areas of business and integrates online content with a printed workbook. Because learning styles are individualized, so is The MBA IQ approach, which employs reading assignments, E-flashcards, quizzes and self-assessments.

Are they worth it?

Funny-I came across these exact same two courses today while searching for premba courses. Coming from a non business background they seem attractive. I too, would like to know what people think about it and whether anyone has taken these courses?

Okay, so I signed up for MBA Math.

I'm only about 1/3 through the program, but so far I like it. I just completed the finance section. The teaching material is concise, to the point, and easy to follow. The finance section covered tmv, annuities, perpetuities, NPV, etc...a lot of stuff that I haven't seen since undergrad.

It also does a great job explaining how to perform all of the calculations using Excel...using both algebraic expressions and Excel's built in functions.

MDF, did you also consider GMAC's Essential Prep The Collection? If so, what made you go for MBA Math instead of Essential Prep? Once I'm done with the GMAT, I'll probably get one of these two courses (not sure which one at the moment). In any case, thanks for following up..

I only considered MBA Math because Booth recommended it and provided a discount.
