Hi,

Does anybody know about the prospects for Master of financial engineering or Finmath form UChicago. I am having this as a back up plan for M.B.A Finance. Does anybody have any idea about it. I am a masters EE working in electronics for the past 4 years. Is it easy to shift to finance with the help of Finmath. What would be the starting salaries.
Please advice.

The prospects for the Masters in Financial Engineering from U-Chicago are pretty much commensurate to an MBA. The starting salaries should be very close. I'm not familiar with FinMath.
