Hi,
I'm prem and in IT for the past 3.5 years(yes i do fall into the large bucket of male 20ish,indian and IT work-ex).I actually need advice as to what would b a better career path i.e,

a) an MBA - with the freedom of choosing the specialization viz marketing,consulting etc

b) an MIS - i'm not sure about this though,pls shed some light on this.

My aim ultimately would be of a start up.so pls guide me as to which would be suitable .

I can't really comment on an MIS degree, but if you're interested in entrepreneurship long-term, I would recommend getting formal business trainng at some point. Earning another technical degree when you're already a "techie" probably won't help you as much.

You mean in undergrad? Most schools (grag or undergrad) offer some type of entrepreneurship courses these days. It's become a much more popular subject in recent years.
