Work Experience :

GMAT score :720

1)I'm planning to apply for my MBA in '2014 . My goal is to do my MBA from the top global MBA college .Kindly evaluate my profile and also suggest the colleges that I should apply to and have a good chance of getting into.

2)Also in your view which is a better option for me 1 year or a 2 year MBA(Please suggest few good 1 year MBA programs that are fit for my kind of profile)

3)Another issue I would like your views on is that my performance in math course in graduation was not good (I failed ) but it was mainly due to lack of focus rather than a true reflection of my maths aptitude (GMAT Quant score 49). If you can suggest few things that I can do to make my profile stronger in this area, as I have heard that Quants play a major role in admissions decision of a candidate.

4) Let me know institutes/colleges I should apply for and have a better chance of making it to.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Hi niche27,

Thanks for posting. You have a strong candidacy. For your application, I recommend you read this case study of an Indian engineer who was accepted into a top MBA program: ... ies/case2/. It should provide insight for your application.

For your MBA programs, do you have a preference in location (California, New York, etc.), and are you interested in a particular industry?

For your failed math class, I recommend you address this in your application. We have a case study of how one candidate did this here: ... ies/case5/

We also provide free 30 minute phone consultations here:
