You have to be realistic when you are applying to schools of this caliber -- which truly attract the best students in the world. Also, you have to be realistic about your chances -- and given your demographic, the overall acceptance rate for candidates like you is about half the stated overall acceptance rate. Thus, it will be challenging to gain admissions to programs as competitive as HBS and Sloan with a verbal GMAT score so low, even with great applications. I strongly recommend that you retake the exam -- and then invest in developing extremely strong applications.
