Background: Graduated from UT Austin with a 3.5 GPA in Chemical Engineering. Work as an engineer for a leading/Fortune 500 Oil and Gas firm in various roles (Operations Engineer, Project Engineer,etc.). I have 5 years experience and I'm looking towards the future at possibly getting into a project management role/commercial/business side. I have a GMAT of 710. Do I have chances at MIT, Duke, Rice , UT McCombs, Kellogg, and Columbia?
It seems like it could be possible. You have good grades from a good school and a good GMAT, and work in a good industry. IF you want a real eval though we need a LOt more info, dude.. like exactly what you did during the five years, your age and sex and nationality, any info about extra-currics and volunteer work and sports...
