MBA Ranking General Management

I just realized that I had forgotten to post a list of the top US MBA programs in General Management- here it is. To the surprise of no one, six of the ultra elite programs are present in the list below. As expected, there is also considerable overlap with the top ranked management consulting programs.

Metaranking (US Only)

1. Harvard
2. Northwestern
3. Michigan/Penn
5. Stanford
6. UVA (Darden)
7. Dartmouth/Duke
9. Chicago
10. Columbia

Note: I have revised the presentation of the schools above to make it less confusing.

The metaranking is based on a weighted combination of other rankings. I make no representations that this metaranking is correct in any grand sense, merely that it provides some insight into the perceived standing of the schools. Indeed, I have found the results of some of the metarankings difficult to believe based on my own knowledge and experience but I figured GMAT Club members would still find the results interesting.
