MBA Schools for Distance Learning [#permalink] New post 06 Feb 2005, 12:11
Hi! I've tried to research on some input regarding the distance learning schools here for MBA, but to no avail. I was wondering if any of you have considered doing the on-line distance MBA. If so, which schools have you considered? I'm trying to find which one is the best one.

What interests you in an online program as opposed to an FT or PT program?

Indiana University's program is probably one of the best known in the United States.

A good sign with Suffolk's Online program is that students are permitted to transfer "seamlessly" to one of the campuses.

Right now, I'm considering the MBA Distance learning due to the convenience it offers -- I don't need to drive to school and find parking etc.. Considering the fact that most of the traditional class type teaching method- it consist of over 50% case studies. So, I guess, basically you'll be studying on your own. The only con with MBA distance learning is you don't have the networking access with other students and face to face contact with the professors, but you can communicate via e-mails. But other than that, it seems to me that some MBA distance learning schools offer the same advantages as oppose to the "residential" schools. Plus, the schools I wanted to go locally is quite far from my home. Thanks for the suggestion for the Indiana University-- they're seems pretty good.

I do want to find an MBA distance learning school where most of the employers are familiar with and yet affordable..
