Re: MBA students go for Google [#permalink]
Given the visa situation in the US it is certainly more challenging to get jobs in the USA because more and more companies dont want to deal with the hassle and uncertainty that arises from the work visa process.

In fact, I have it on good account that things have worsened significantly in the last 2-3 years. It doesnt seem mean Intl students cant get jobs, it just adds another obstacle into the mix.

It would be interesting to see what the breakdown is by region and nationality.

e.g. what B-students in Europe or Asia prefer

and also within each region, what B-students from Europe studying in the USA prefer etc. Just to see the regional differences in perspectives.

I think the same. I'm reading the R. Montauk's books and he says that for international students it's a little bit difficult to find a job in the states.

Can some say something about it?

It certainly isn't (as) easy as an international, but it isn't impossible. Though the smaller the company, the more difficult it becomes. That is the appearance from summers anyway - I will learn more about full-time at a later date.

They have a separate pool of H1B visas for Masters degree graduates, that lasted for 1 month in the most recent allocation. Considering that the standard pool is oversubscribed day one, it is a little bit better, but is going quicker each year.
