Hello I am Russian (25). without much experience (2 years). Now live in France.
I managed to be admitted to HEC Paris, both HEC Master (Grand Ecole) and HEC MBA.
HEC Master (Grand Ecole) is well known in France and N1 European Masters Program in FT ranking. In French business community it is even more recognized than HEC MBA.
HEC MBA is well known internationally.
Considering my age and work experience which one will be better for me? thnx
Antinazi,
Sorry for the delay in replying; I've been on the road with limited Internet access. Congrats on your HEC acceptances. As for which one you should choose, it all depends on your goals. If you're focusing on a career in France, then the Grande Ecole may be the program for you. If you're looking for a degree with more international visibility and a more U.S.-style program (perhaps because you anticipate your career taking you out of Europe), then HEC's MBA program would be the more likely choice. As for your age and work experience, unfortunately I don't have data on the age and W/E of Grand Ecole's admitted students, but I can tell you that its MBA program definitely skews older (average age of 30, middle 80% of 27-34 years old) then U.S. programs, so that may tell you that they are less interested in relatively younger applicants like yourself. Ask HEC Grand Ecole for age and W/E data for their students.
Hope this helps,
