MBA with 15 yrs biz exp: chances for top MS Acctg program

MBA with 15 yrs biz exp: chances for top MS Acctg program [#permalink] New post 25 Jul 2005, 04:32
I am considering pursuing an MS in Accounting.

I graduated SUNY Albany in 1990 with a BA in Economics (2.75 GPA)


I earned my MBA in Finance from Pace University (NYC) in 1999 (3.5 GPA)
(Completed part-time program while working full-time)

Based on the fact that I have almost 15 years of biz experience, and already possess an MBA, I'm wondering what my chances are of gaining admission to a top MS program.


I am going to retake the GMAT, and did speak with an advisor at McCombs, who said that a score in the high 500's would give me a shot.

(My score in 1995 was 510)

Any thoughts/advice/info would be greatly appreciated
