Typically, the 'Best Admissions Consulting Company' thread and the GMATClub Reviews sections should have you covered. I worked with Paul at Amerasia, and have provided a detailed download of that experience on the 'Best Admissions Consulting Company' thread - you can find it here

My experience with Paul was extremely good; I cannot speak for the other 2 companies you've asked about, as I haven't worked with them. PM me if you need more details.

I also worked with Paul and Amerasia (you can see my review on the reviews page) and had a great experience with them.

I sampled around before I found Paul, but once I spoke with him, it was a done deal. Paul is one of the most experienced people out there and it shows - he knew exactly which angles to play up in applications, and how to bring out the story best. When the interview invites came in, he got my butt into shape and ready for the real thing. Plus, he's overall just a fun dude to work with.

I have heard that Adam and the others with Amerasia are similarly impressive.

Thanks in large part to Amerasia, I'm headed to an "M7" school. If you work with Amerasia, you will not be disappointed.

Hello!

Let me preface this by disclosing (as you can see from my username!), that I am an mbaMission consultant and message boards specialist, so I'm a little biased. But all I wanted to say was that as you continue your evaluation, please take advantage of all the free resources we have to offer - it sounds like you already did a free consultation, but we also offer free guide books(https://www.mbamission.com/resources.php), webinars/events (https://www.mbamission.com/index.php - see sidebar) and blogs (https://www.mbamission.com/blog/) on admissions topics that you might find useful. You can also feel free to reach out to your consultant with follow-up questions, and check out reviews of us from former clients on this board (if you haven't already): https://gmatclub.com/reviews/mbamission/ ... -345345564.

We know there are lots of options out there and want you to make the choice that is best for you as we recognize this is a big decision. Just wanted to point you to these resources in case it helps!

Best of luck,
Mili

thanks guys... I guess I'm looking for a company that will:

- work very hard with me to build my profile, not just an excellent writer.
- challenge me and give me candid and realistic feedbacks.
- know what the schools want and spend time to understand all aspects of my non-traditional background to present my best side to the schools.

$5k for 2 schools or $7k for 4 schools is not pocket change and I just want to make sure the money is not wasted.
