I was in the same quandary as you in August '09. I was accepted by Manchester Business School MBA (global acclerated - part time / hybrid of MBS workshops and online tuition) and Warwick MBA. I went for Manchester they offered me a place in advance of Warwick - and I needed to give them a response within a certain timeline.

After 2 trimesters in, I and fellow students are experiencing a level of disappointment we never envisioned. To the extent that I am thinking of leaving this program and figuring out if Warwick Business school is a good place to transition (will be checking this board for that info). The list of issues with MBS are below. The institution is aware of this groundswell of disgruntlement, as various meetings have been had between students and MBS school faculty and management.

• The often chaotic administration and lack of “joined up thinking” in terms of the general course running, including it would seem, general support for the academics.
• Administrative issues in terms of information on Blackboard, examples include wrong papers being uploaded, assignments being announced late and too many channels of communication.
• A lack of interaction on Blackboard from the tutors in advance of the workshops when students are just grappling to get to grips with new topics and post workshops in the run up to exams.
• Most of the workshop lectures have been ok; however there are one or two examples of some very poor levels of instruction. In addition this is compounded by different tutors being used for different cohort groups.

If you are not on the same programme above, you experience may be better. Hope this helps; there is a monetary and time investment in these programmes. My main aim is to get a good education, not just a degree.
