Hi,
Can someone help with choosing one school , i know choices are personal, i want insights in a few selcted remaining areas only
My details
International student - Indian - Financial services
short term and long term goal - remain into financial services only
academic background - business management
in terms of budget - comfortable with both (yet will always consider the additional 25/30k i shed for rotman brand)
batch size - comfortable with both types - small batch or big batch
I want insights on
1) Placements - as per FT ranking, mc.gill has better placements than rotman, and rotman is again increasing its batch size this year that might really affect the opportunities for internships and placments ?, i also heard that students have been placed in US from mc.gill (though i am not aiming at US or something) but this shows the quality of education. I heard CCC of rotman is not tooo active.
2) In terms of location - is montreal inferior to toronto, i mean is it possible to do MBA at mc.gill and explore opportunities in toronto or vice versa.
3) Language - I am not good at french, i might learn basics before i go and later may learn advanced while studying ( dont know if its practical )
4) Salaries range == almost same at both the colleges, i heard the cost of living is toronto is way high
Any other points that you may feel worthwhile to differentiate.
