Thank You guys. I appreciate all the input. I have ensured that none of my essays exceed their respective word limits.

Can someone comment on the application system? I uploaded a non-finalized version of my essay and just found out and replaced it with the finalized version. However, when I click "Print Preview" and PDF file still reveals the non-finalized version of my essay. Did anyone experience the similar issue? Please advise... Thanks!!!

Did anyone encounter the same problem above?

I submitted in round 2, but I do not recall having any issues uploading updated essays. You could try changing the file name of the updated essay before uploading, some apps have trouble with that.

I am on H1B Visa. The application says that I need to submit the I-797 and I-485 but does not give an option to upload them.

Has anyone faced this issue?

Would anyone who's been admitted and accepted mind sharing other dates (besides Preview Weekend, which thanks to this board I know is April 4-6) for summer/fall 2013? I saw on this board that in 2012, students were expected to be in Austin by August 1, there were trips to the Central TX area, and other important dates were listed. Wondering what anyone knows about this year's schedule.

R3 applicant here. Wish I found out about this forum beforehand. Now the waiting angst begins...

Doing a dual degree - so took GRE instead of GMAT. Does that matter...guys/gals?

I'm already in a masters program at UT, and applied to McCombs in R2 for the dual-degree. I used my GRE scores, so I guess I will see soon enough.

No one knows about any 2013 dates?

I did manage to find out about some of the MAP trips for this year, for anyone else curious: https://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/MBA/Full ... l/MAP.aspx

Round 3 applicant. Just got invited to interview. That was a quick turn around. Plan on taking it in second week of Feb.

Any tips!!!

Also, I recently got an email to pay fees but it also had request up submit TOEFL score.

I meet all the requirements for TOEFL waiver (checked all the boxes in the application), then why do I need to take the TOEFL?

Quick question - How much information will the interviewer have about me? Blind or we read?

My husband just got his interview invite for R3 as well, this is impressive turn around time.... How many applications have they reviewed so far? Is it a good sign if they send out invites this early?

Other than the TOEFL score, you should be able to find all your answers in the earlier pages of this thread. Also, you should send your TOEFL question to TexasMBA@mccombs.utexas.edu because they can clear you individually if that's the case.

MAP Trips and dates are not yet final for this Fall, however they will be revealed at Preview Weekend in April! Regardless, Admissions does recommend that if you attend in the Fall you are moved in my August 1st as the optional bootcamp is typically the 2nd week of August and Orientation starts the 3rd week of August. It will be helpful to have yourself entirely moved in before school actually starts because you will definitely not have any time to unpack boxes once everything gets started!
