Got the e-mail too! So excited. Came in at 7pm CST, well after I had given up for the day on being notified. Mine was the same message as the other recipients.
I can't imagine they let everyone know tonight though, simply because it seems like it's been staggered everywhere else I've seen (R1, last year, many other schools).

A big congrats to all who received the email tonight.
So in addition to welcoming you, I read an earlier post saying something about how the email indicated you would receive another (official) notice on Friday? Or did I misread that.
For some reason, I thought most schools called with the news. I'm admittedly a rookie at this, but I had somehow set the expectation that only non-admit info was communicated via email.

i just received an admit call from adcom member :D wow one of the happiest days of my life.. im really excited about McCombs.. its a fantastic school..
i did not receive any email yet.. so for all those who haven't got a mail yet don't lose hope.. i'm sure they are still in the process of calling/emailing the admitted students.. i understand the feeling but hang on..

Just received the admit call from the admissions committee. I believe they are calling everyone as we speak. What a great feeling!

Hey guys, congrats to those who've received the good news,and BoL to those like me awaiting 'the call'. I wanted to know if any internationals have already received calls/ emails for Round 2 yet ? Anyone from India ? Give a shout if you've. Cheers, keep up the hope people.

Got invited to an interview! I'm going to have to scour the thread for some information, but how often do they open up on campus interview slots? I'd like to go to campus to have my interview instead of relying on Skype, but right now the only two dates that are open are tomorrow and Thursday. Seeing as I need a plane ticket to get down there, I'd like a little bit more advance notice.

I applied for the Dec. 4 deadline and haven't heard from the adcom yet. Just wondering if there's still a chance to get a positive response, since the decision notification date is Feb. 15. Anyone has any info to share?
