Hi,

I'm a R2 candidate from India. I got an admit email only yesterday. I didn't expect to hear from McCombs so much before the deadline. For the record, I had interviewed with an alum on 10-02-2014. But don't lose hope guys! Good luck!

So will people be getting acceptances every day now till April 9th? Because it's been quiet today, maybe it's early.

I sure hope not. I wish I didn't find out that people are getting acceptances so soon. Anxiety level will be through the roof till April 9th now.

Yep and now I don't know what days people are getting acceptances what days not. At least I have a set date for Tepper and know when I'll hear if I'm off the waitlist, the 24th.

Have any non consortium Texas residents heard back?
Pcsouthern, I'm guessing you are out of state?

Guess it would make sense to tell us last, that way you all can book a visit in advance at a reasonable cost.

Ya I'm in Boston. It could be that they are letting people who have to travel further for admit weekend know earlier so they can plan accordingly. Or it could be completely random - it's still well before their deadline so I would try not to read into it too much if you haven't heard from them. Having said that, I'd probably be freaking out if I were on the other end.

Cool, thanks. Congrats man. I grew up in Boston, met a few first years from the area when I visited. I laugh every time someone compares Cambridge to Austin -- people in ATX are far more friendly.

FYI for everyone looking to plan a campus visit, Southwest Airlines flies into ATX. Of course there is the American hub in DFW with connections, but my flight in on SW was much better than the American one out.

There is no subway, but the bus system is very respectable and the drivers are pretty helpful.

I interviewed after Feb 15th, and I haven't heard anything yet.

These early admit results are surely kicking my morale. Still 2 weeks to go for the final decision and now we just have to sit in suspense!!!

I havent heard either, but I believe kt1989 interviewed after Feb 15th and he got an admit last week.
At the end of my interview, my interviewer mentioned that there will be no further contact regarding the result until the decision notification date. So I guess I just have to wait. Btw my interview was in the last week of Feb.

Haha, I think friendliness in Boston is pretty correlated to the weather. Everyone loses their patience when it's freezing, but from Marathon Monday through June it's pretty awesome.

They let me know via email that my FAFSA was approved, but the Financial Aid tab on My Status says that my file is being processed, and to check back in 2 weeks. The CASH site says "Your financial aid award information is not yet available."
