I saw this on the BW Forums. I have no idea how accurate it is, so take it with a grain of salt.

Actual McK figures:
- Associate (right after MBA): ~US$150k/year (120k base + 30k bonus)
- EM (2-4 years post MBA): $200-250k/year
- AP (Years 4-5): $300-350k/year
- Partner (Years 6, 7, 8, 9, 10): $450, 600, 900, 1.2M, 1.5M/year
- Director (+10 years): $2 - 10M/year, depending on tenure and performance (very few people make $10M, median should be ~$3-4M)

The associate, EM, and AP figures I have seen before. Not sure if that validates anything though. Not bad, but not something I am really interested in. Terp06 how are you apps going? I been meaning to pm you sometime and get some feedback. Hope everything is going good. I haven't seen an update post on your process lately.

I've been sidetracked the last couple of weeks due to a car wreck (fortunately I'm 100% okay). I plan to put in some serious time towards Wharton and Columbia this weekend.

Ouch, that's even worse. Was everything okay on your end?

$12K in damage, no injuries, only $500 co-pay......and still hit my 700 in GMAT... so I guess it could have been worse :P

Mine had over $35K in damage and both cars were totaled. No injuries. Still only a $500 co-pay, still hit a 700+ in the GMAT, and I'm back in action with a new car already :)

Glad to hear you're alright.

i am really surprised at the numbers for P and Director.

These are much much higher than I thought they would be.

Agreed. I always thought that most partners make in the range of $1M with not a lot of variation, not $2-10M. I also wasn't aware of the Director title. I wonder how many Directors there are within an office like Chicago or San Francisco? Or are these more of a global-type of position with no real limits on specific locations?
