Mechanical Engineering Graduate with Majors in Supply Chain Management [#permalink] New post 01 Jul 2015, 22:14
GMAT SCORE 680

2013 - Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Industry affiliated college in Mumbai University with Majors in Supply Chain Management. Topped the Majors in Final Year.

Got placed at POSCO Steel on campus but chose off campus job opportunity in an expanding logistic firm in Konkan region, Maharashtra, India.

Currently I am working as AM for Operational Excellence where in I have planned & deployed 3 innovative projects for my firm. These projects have brought enhanced profitability & facilitated ambitious expansion of the firm in Tier 1 cities of Mumbai & Pune, which I am currently heading from Mumbai.

During college days, internship with SIEMENS. Internship with the firm I am currently working.

Working as a volunteer at an NGO in Mumbai which deals with Learning disability among school children. I take care of content writing & managing the back end operations for this NGO, directly reporting to Executive Director.

In second year of Engineering, founded a students body for empowering the first year students, by providing academic help for selected subjects. In the next stage developed this body into a full fledged avenue for pulling placements to my alma matar by enhancing the employ-ability of students. Currently, with help of this student body my Alma Matar has successfully placed students in 8 of the top fortune 500 firms.Highlight being Amazon India.

5 awards in events for presenting Technical Papers & the only student from my college to have one a National Level event in second year of Engineering.

Recommendations from my Faculty under whose guidance I founded the students body & another from my mentor & immediate boss at workplace with whom I share a blossoming professional relation.

I am looking at International MBA with a goal of transitioning into consulting role. I am aware a paltry experience of two years is too short one but I am determined to apply for Fall 2016.

Kindly evaluate my profile & guide me & in case you need any further information. DO ping me back.
Thank you.
