Thanks for sharing your profile. See responses below:
1. Am I too old for an applicant class if I plan on joining an MBA in the future i.e. when I'm 28 or 29?
-No not too told are not too far off the average here just will need to communicate why you need another advanced degree and how that specific school can help you reach your goals
2. Would a top 10 program (preferably top 3 program) be feasible with my background?
-You could be potentially in range at a top 10 program, top 3 is honestly a crap shoot given how many qualified candidates. Look at top 3 as the top 3 schools that fit your development goals, because you ask 10 people there top 3 and outside of HBS and Stanford that list will look different for most people.
3. Obviously I will work very hard to get the highest score I can get on the GMAT. I plan on taking it at least twice to make sure I nail every section. However, in a worst case scenario if I don't get the type of score I want to get and get ~700 +/- 10, where would this place me in terms of my competitiveness as an applicant?
-Well your other scores appear to be strong so you could probably have the option to submit the GMAT and reference the LSAT as well. So I think they would be confident of your aptitude. I will say it seems like you have explored every single grad school path which they may wonder if you are really focus on b-school or if this is just the flavor of the month so this goes back to making your case.
4. Would attempting to apply for the second cycle of admissions with my old GRE score and my other test scores be a good idea or would programs see this score as being too outdated and would the entire thing be a waste of an application? This score will expire next January.
-No, most schools are accepting GREs now so just make sure your target programs do. If you need help pulling together your package feel free to reach out to us over here at Veritas Prep!
