Media and entertainment conference [#permalink]

So I have a bit of a dilemma. I am currently applying for the Fall '08 semester and looking to specialize in media and entertainment. I recently learned of a mba media and entertainment conference (http://www.mbamec.com/) being held at the end of the month, and I thought this would be a great opportunity for me. The only issue is that the website says its for current MBA students only. However, when I try to purchase tickets it doesn't ask for any proof that I am in fact a student.

So I'm hoping that since I can purchase the tickets without a problem, maybe they run the whole thing on the honor system and don't necessarily check student IDs.

Does anyone have any experience with these conferences? Are they strict about these requirements? Any other thoughts?

Usually there is not really an easy way to verify your enrollment. I can't think of anything except your student ID and if the ticket/paperwork does not require you to bring it, then you don't have to worry about anything - I doubt it is strict.

I don't know how keen I would be to smuggle into the Kimmel center. I will ask some people here who know about the conference and see if it is "open".
