(A) for me,

median = (8-6) / 2 = 7
average = (4 + 5 + 6 + 8 + 10 + x) / 6 = (33 + x)/6

From the problem, we have also :

median = 6/7 * average
<=> 7 = 6/7 * (33 + x)/6
<=> 49 = 33 + x
<=> x = 16

A - exactly accoring to the explanation - did u guess 16 or something and didnt understand why it was right?

(A). Same explanation just correcting the typo, median = (8+6) / 2 = 7
