This might sound like a stupid question - but where do I go to get my medical records. At some point I'll have to fill out those forms about when i got vaccines, etc. I just have no clue where they would be! I must have giuven them to my undergrad university (10 years ago)... Can I get a copy from them?

I know the "correct" answer is "open your file cabinet and look through the copies of your medical records you kept". Pardon me while I attempt to stop laughing :-D

My family has gone through 3 houses since then and I lived in a foreign country. I am pretty sure something like that was lost. Surely I can't be the only person that can't find 15 year old records about routine preventative care?

That is a good question. I just called my parents to ask them about my medical records. I guess if they didn't have everything I need, I'd call the hospital I went to growing up. Would they keep records for that long?

Try your college and your high school. Your county nurse might have it too.

Worse comes to worse: you get an extra shot or have to do a titer test.
