Dear all,
Greetings from sunny Greece!!!
My name is Steven and I am planning to apply to for MBA 2013 entering class.
Age : 31 at meticulation
W/E : 5 years in the Financial Sector of a large Multinational FMCG company. 5 subordinates
GMAT score : 650 ( q46 v34) (sit 6 times).
Head of a Large international service Organization for Greece( 150 - 200 Volunteers / 9 clubs)
I am seeking to apply to a top 15 business school, with favored ones the DUKE, TUCK, WHARTON, DARDEN.
How much important is the GMAT score for international students (exc Indian ones, who sky rock it)?
Here in Greece the situation is really bad. There are many layoffs and the rest of us work endless hours. Moreover due to the fact that I am a team leader I am restricted to act on my own. "The captain is the last to abord the ship".
So I stay until the team finishes, in order to handle the job. In any other case, not only I would not only destroy their morale, but also jeopardize my position.
Please any suggestions? I am really confused and I am not sure what to do.
Sit it again the GMAT , or move on with the applications?
Kind regards
Stavros K
