Melbourne Business School (MBS) or AGSM, Australia [#permalink] New post 03 Oct 2012, 21:01
Hi,

I am a financial services professional with 6 yrs of work experience.

I have an admit from MBS and AGSM both, but i am very confused to choose one. Please if anyone can help evaluate a few points o

1) Sydney NSW, is the financial services hub whereas Melbourne is IT hub, so a few suggested me to go for AGSM
2) A few are suggesting that Melbourne Business school is more reputed than AGSM

My post MBA goal is to ideally remain within financial services only

Please help

Thanks

There's a few differences between the programs, but I would be choosing AGSM out of those two.

Here is my 2 cents; if you are planning to stay in Australia go with AGSM, but if you are planning to move outside go with Melbourne - from my experience in Dubai and Qatar, very few know about AGSM but almost everyone knows or heard about MBS.

I also have such struggling.
for 2013 summer semester, both gave me the offer and both gave the scholarship(around $20000).
However considering the cost (time & living) and career service, don't know how to pick one of those.
any suggestion?

well, when you reach to a dead end, the last resort that usually works best for almost everyone is to visit both school campuses - your heart will let you know which one to choose.
