Been a few months since I was on here. Congrats to all the R1 admits! Is anyone going to the preview weekend in a couple weeks? I'll be flying up there for the weekend to visit the campus but I haven't decided if I'm going to attend the preview weekend as it seems geared more towards potential applicants and not those who have already been accepted. Anyway, congrats again to you all and I look forward to meeting my fellow 1-year cohorts in May and everyone else in the Fall.

Hello GMATCLUB Members,

We are bringing a webinar with Q&A as well as chats with current students focused on the Waitlisted Applicants.
The first event of this series is Webinar conducted by Admissionado's Founder and HBS Alum Jon Frank. Jon will share his suggestions followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask your specific questions. The webinar will take place on 31st January 2014, Friday, 9 AM PST.

We shall also be conducting chat sessions with some Current students from various schools who were successfully admitted from a waitlist so you can learn what to expect from the process, what worked for them, and what it takes. Same here. but yesterday i do received a mail from Admission officer asking for GMAT score report and basis for waiver of TOEFL.

Any update for other Guys...Please keep posting the update so that we know what is happening..........All the Best

i contacted one of the MBA ambassador and he informed me that there is some changes in the adcom team
May be that is the reason for the delay in the invites.

Round 1 was quickly done

Hello friends,
I hate these FT rankings.In the recently published rankings our school (NotreDame Mendoza school of business) which ranks 20 in Business-week rankings and in the US News rankings ranked in a similar place and doesnot even appear in the global top 100 which is baffling since many schools such as Urbana Shapagne and UC Irwine are way down on these rankings.I think this is a mistake and is it because the NotreDame school didn't even participate in the rankings system atall.What do you guys feel

Ha ha ha. I think it's better that it is not ranked in FT. People searching for Mendoza ranking will not get a bad ranking. They get to see the good ranking from US news and others. On a more serious note, it could just be that, FT couldn't get many alums to interview. I wouldn't worry about rankings so much anyway.

Simple answer , FT rankings is **** anyway.
I saw many self advertising schools I would not dare to go to ranked better than Olin

I read on poetsandquants that they have a new person at the helm for admissions.
Damn , this is too much of waiting

Should I send an acknowledgement repeating my keen interest in Mendoza MBA program?

I wouldn't do that. You should contact admission committie only when you are adding some value to your application. (They are already overloaded with apps.) You are interested in their program, that's why you applied, right? So saying that might sound needy. My two cents though :)
