Merit scholarships [#permalink] New post 15 Nov 2010, 13:11
Dear all,
I'm interested in learning more about merit scholarships available at the top 10 schools. As far as I understand it, Harvard and Stanford both do not offer general merit scholarships, apart from scholarships limited to specific races/gender/nationality. Is this true?

What about other schools? How generous is their aid, and how rare/difficult is it to get a full-ride? What about significant scholarships, like half-rides? What do they generally look for when awarding these things?

Thanks!

Paul
