MGMAT Assumptions Questions: Sufficient, Necessary, or Both? [#permalink] New post 18 Jun 2010, 14:34
In the MGMAT CR chapter on Assumption questions, do they teach you how to solve Necessary Assumption questions, Sufficient Assumption questions, or both?

There is a difference between the 2, and I think it's important to understand that distinction when studying.

I'm also using MGMAT prep material. They've mentioned that assumptions are always 'necessary' but not sufficient. In fact, LEN is strategy which would differentiate between 'necessary' and 'sufficient' assumption answer choices.
Overall assumption question types listed are:
- Logic Gap
- Feasibility of premises
- Alternate Path
- Alternate model of causation
