odds are it;s my mistake, just can't understand this simple thing:

MGMAT says:
2x²+2x-4 = 0
2(x²+x-4)= 0

Shouldn't it be:
2(x²+x-2)= 0

???

thats a typo/wrong. which MGMAT book? any page no?
