I just took my first MGMAT CAT, and found Quant at a much higher level of difficulty than the OG 12 questions. Is it just me or is it like that ? Does the real GMAT match the difficulty of MGMATs or OG ?

Also, I found that either the scores are inflated or it takes into account the higher difficulty level while giving scores. I got a 49 in Quant on Powerprep when I got 3 wrong; and also managed a 49 on MGMAT with 8-9 questions wrong. Same with verbal. Got an overall 740 (Q49,V42).

Any views ?

MGMAT Is pretty consistent with the GMAT. The number of questions answered right/wrong, however, has nothing to do with the final score :)
