Hi,

I am a R2 applicant and i have not heard anything from the school yet.

Anyone on the same boat as me?

Hi Bharath

The decision deadline for Round-2 applicants is arnd 29-30th March. As far as i know, they informed the decision of round-1 only on the decision deadline date i.e. 15th December. There may be few exceptions to this trend but mostly the decisions shall be made on 29th March. Hope this helps.

Hi all,

I got admission offer from Broad and was awarded GA + 10K schol. :-D

Guys, I need your help regarding my school selection.

I have two offers currently..One from MSU Broad and another from PSU Smeal. I am planning for a career in supply chain management in US post MBA. Money wise, at both the schools, I will have to spend almost same amount. I am an Indian candidate.

I see that Broad is better ranked then Smeal in most of the rankings. However, I learnt that Pennsylvania has better weather when compared to Michigan. I wanted to know which would be a better school for me considering the fact that I am an international student and I am interested in a career in Supply Chain Management.

Could you share your thoughts on these two schools and help me out in deciding which school to attend.

Thank you!

I'm not sure there is enough of a difference in climate for that to be a deciding factor.

MSU is ranked #2 in supply chain on US News rankings.

MSU is located in a mid sized city that is also the state capital.
PSU is located in a rural town that has an economy that thrives off the university.

I'm not going to suggest one over the other as its a personal decision, but I hope that helps.

Can you please post your profile in detail? As far as i know, both schools are great for a supply chain career and there will be only a minor difference in terms of their reputation, course offering, placements, weather and rankings point of view. Before making a decision, talk to the current students/ alumni of both the schools and extract deeper information about these colleges and then take a decision.

congrats and all the best :)

What kind of scandal are you talking about? and how did it effect the image of MSU full time MBA Program. Pl share.

Have you visited MSU Broad? I've visited before and the people (current students, staff) were great. If I were going into supply chain, I would attend. I wasn't a big fan of East Lansing, but you'll be busy so that wouldn't matter as much. :-D I just felt that it was a great bunch of down-to-earth, collaborative people.
