middle ranking one year MBA program, any suggestions? [#permalink] New post 05 May 2013, 16:25
I am looking into an one year MBA program for this September. Can anyone suggest some middle ranking schools with lower tuition fees that offer one year MBA?
I prefer going to school in the southern part of the states but it's not a must. I have many years working experience in financial industry. It's something I really want to do for myself as a personal goal. I don't even care if this MBA will get me a good job as most likely I would like to be self employed after I finish the school. I just want a good, solid school that I can really learn something.
It's May now. If I want to start in September, I will have to act quick!
Thank you in advance!

You may be too late for most 1 year programs. Since 1 year programs are accelerated, they typically start in the summer (not September) so when the fall rolls around, the 1Y MBA students are taking electives and mixing in with the 2nd year MBA students who are set to graduate at the same time.

If you want to go next summer, Emory is a solid 1Y program in the south.
