Missed this ridiculously easy one on today's CAT because of the wording.

If S and T are two different numbers on the number line, is S+T = 0?

1. The distance between S and 0 is the same as the distance betwenn T and 0.

2. 0 is between S and T.

the answer is A

1) Since the stem states X & Y are different. so if X= 1 then Y=-1.

2) not suff

Ya, "different" was cue word so with A, we know they are same numbers with opposite signs. B is redundant.
