I think you may be underestimating your candidacy.
You can probably shoot higher. Your GMAT/GPA combo is solid (sure, going to an Ivy helps, but going to a no-name isn't a negative either especially if your grades are good), and given your job experience my hunch is that you probably can add a lot to the class discussions -- especially in marketing, operations/supply chain, organizational behavior, etc. -- the classes that other people may have little experience to draw from. In other words, I think you have more to offer than you may think. And yes, when addressing leadership experience, it doesn't have to be limited to examples with direct reports (if that were the case, the overwhelming majority of applicants would have little to say or draw from).
Schools you may want to target:
Stretch: Kellogg, Tuck
Sweet spot: Michigan, Duke, UCLA
Safety: Indiana, USC, Georgetown (choose one of these 3)
