whats wrong with B? i am in btw A and B.. OA?

'B' is wrong becos it says 'than any of the anthropoids' which includes gibbons - so it should be 'than any of the other anthropoids' which will exclude gibbons

Gayathri

I will go with A on this one. I tried to rephrase it and see if the first part of the sentence work

"Gibbons are" More completely adapted for life in the trees than are the other anthropoids---this sounds right. At least better than other choices...

I wonder why D is wrong.
This is how I read it

gibbons (by elipsed) "Adapting more completely to life in the trees than the adaptation of the other anthropoids" move with tremendous facility and ease.

I guess probably more completely killed this choice

D is wrong because participle, adapting, changes the original meaning. Adapting means as if the process of adaptation is in progress. However, adapted is more logical expression.
