weird SC

More ..than is the correct idiom.

We have B ,D and E

now we are down to a correct comparison.. .decade and decade...

D is wrong..another is incorrect usage...we need to compare one decade to all others..

E does not need period at the end..its may not be correct..since period

does not automatically mean a decade.

i would go for B, though i have my issues with this SC.

thanks

thanks, preat

i got your point .. it 's B.
one more thing, as 'period' is nowhere mentioned in the opening sentence, its usage in the last can't be related.

If it is B, then we assume that:

More concrete and glass structures were constructed in the decade of the
1960's than in any other DECADE.

E eschews this questionable assertion.

I think, this is what the sentence is trying to prove.

ok..what does period mean...it should logically mean a decade

Does "period" suggest a decade?

i guess this could be an example of ellipsis.

akamai..could you please comment ?

i still like B.

thanks

why can't period cannot be used in the sentence? i picked E as well thinking in B we are assuming it is still in terms of decade.
