Hi,

Does anyone have more info on the silver scholar program? Perhaps anyone that's actually in the program?

I'm wondering how the recruiting will bode for them. I realize the 2nd year is a year-long internship, but without substantial work experience, does recruiting for full-time end up working well?

i met someone who is currently in the program, and went to work for a hedge fund during their summer internship. i don't believe it's only for yale graduates; it's open to any college senior who wishes to be a part of the program.

this is conjecture on my part, but i would imagine that one of the main draws of the silver scholars from a recruiting standpoint is the chance to get younger candidates into some of the industries that are typically "easier" to break into from undergraduate vs MBA (for example, hedge funds and private equity shops).
