IMO , "it" does not have any antecedent "and" is not appropriate to show contrast + we don't know 14% of <WHAT>. we cannot assume "14 of world wine" because of LACK of parallelism

A & B convey the meaning that wine produced in Italy accounts for 14% of wine in Spain. D seems to talk about the rate of wine production in Spain which to me does not make any sense. E incorrectly compares Italy to wine production. C is the right answer. Kudos Please... If my post helped.
