More than 30 years ago, Dr. Barbara McClintock, the Nobel Prize winner, reported that genes can "jump", as pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another.

A pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another
b, like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another
c, as pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to others
D like pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to others
E as do pearls that move mystreiously from one necklace to some other

Since we are comparing verbs, "can jump", we need the comparator "as".....So we have to choose between C and E.....E has parallelism error.....So my answer is C.......

I think we are comparing nouns.. genes and pearls, hence like is required.

IMO B..
in D to others is incorrect
