The weirdest part of This Whole Thing, for me, was hearing the students at these schools refer to themselves collectively using some ironically cute demonym. Sloanies, Sternies? Really?

In this thread, we will propose new suffixes that aren't "ies," or bestow names upon collectives which don't already have them.

I will start with Ross, since its my only admit so far: Rastas

Used in sentence, "Rasta, please! You will totally nail that case!"

What a great admissions interview question....

Is it acceptable to use "ies" to refer to students at other schools in a mildly derogatory manner, such as "Man, we destroyed those Boothies at basketball, but they probably can do a mean spreadsheet model."?

I think it depends on the school and the name of the school. Sternies sounds kind of cute, Tuckies have to be a group because there is no one else around, Haasies doesnt sound good and they are too cool for that but I have heard another name for Haas students. I propose we not give names to eachother. And while a few of my friends are legitimate rastas I would feel like a ninny calling myself or even you Mr. Beagles a rasta.. sorry.

You could perhaps refer to them as Boothites
