Agree with B.

It is not E for sure, because, there is NO refutation of any accepted arguments. The author is just making a claim, that value is underestimated.
not D, because there are no specific examples. There is only 1 major fact that supports the argument.
not C, because, there is only one general observation.
it is no A, it is too narrow.

I was between B and D and picked D.
But D has a flaw: with several specific examples. There are no several examples in the argument.
