E.

"require few skills" and "require little experience" may make sense, but not "require little hope"

I think it's B.

Positions do not require little hope for permanent placement.
It's interns who work with a little hope for permanent placement.

But in B the "that require" part doesnt seem to click with "with", besides there is no "and" between "few skills" and "little experience", if they are sharing "require"

E. I'm going against my gut that is wondering if "carry little experience" changes the meaning of the sentence.

I think E is the most parallel....each segment begins with a verb since the "requires" cant apply to "little hope for permanent placement."

Most interns who work for pay hold positions that require few skills, carry little experience and offer little hope for permanent placement.

I thought of C also.

I think C. :x

Has to be E.

"Require few skills, little experience and also little hope for permaneant" doesn't make sense without verbs.

I also picked C initially. But I guess it should be E.

Here are two sentences:

Jobs that require X, Y and Z ---> X, Y and Z are the requirements for the job

Jobs that require X, carry Y and offer Z ---> X, Y and Z are 3 different aspects of the job.

Is this explanation correct :?:

How about

Jobs that require X, Y and offer Z.

Here jobs require X and Y, and offer Z.

Waiting for more explainations. :zoom

It should be C

giddi77 has made it very clear.

Besides, what is this structure "require X, Y, and offer Z"? It doestn't look right. X and Y can't be connected in this way.

(A) little experience, and also
(B) little experience, and with
(C) little experience, and offer
(D) carry little experience, and
(E) carry little experience, and offer

Between D & E
I chose D

Most interns who work for pay hold positions that require few skills,
Most interns carry little experience and little hope for permanent placement.

In E, the second line does not make sense. Most interns carry little experience and offer little hope for permanent placement. Interns will not offer hope for permanent placement.

Please explain.

Totally agree with @aakrety. I used the same reasoning for picking D over E

Cheers!

I said 'C'. Is there a consensus here on what the correct answer is or does anyone have access to the official answer?
