Most parents who are generous are good parents, but some self-centered parents are also good parents. Yet all good parents share one characteristic; they are good listeners.
If all of the statements in the passage are true, which one of the following must also be true?
(A) All parents who are good listeners are good parents. (B) Some parents who are good listeners are not good parents. (C) Most parents who are good listeners are generous. (D) Some parents who are good listeners are self-centered. (E) Fewer self-centered parents than generous parents are good listeners.
Please kindly provide reasoning with your answer choice

D sounds the most appropriate.
If all of the statements in the passage are true, which one of the following must also be true?
(A) All parents who are good listeners are good parents. (There can be other parents who are good listeners but may be neither good nor bad) (B) Some parents who are good listeners are not good parents. (Irrelevant -- we are talking about good parents not about "not good" parents) (C) Most parents who are good listeners are generous. (Not right, as this combination could be a very small percentage as well) (D) Some parents who are good listeners are self-centered. (True, coz some parents who are self centered are good parents and vice versa -- keyword is SOME) (E) Fewer self-centered parents than generous parents are good listeners (Irrelevant, we don't have any numbers here...so can't say fewer or more)

IMO 'D'
(A) All parents who are good listeners are good parents. ***Passage says good parents are good listeners...not vice versa*** (B) Some parents who are good listeners are not good parents. ***Passage doesn't talk about it*** (C) Most parents who are good listeners are generous. ***Distorted conclusion*** (D) Some parents who are good listeners are self-centered. ***CORRECT*** (E) Fewer self-centered parents than generous parents are good listeners. ***Passage doesn't talk about the numbers...fewer or more***

also said d. It is the statement that is most closely reflected by the passage. Good listeners mean good parents , and some good parents are self centered.
